A new docuseries drops a bombshell, claiming Dr. Phil was only a licensed psychologist for four years out of his show's epic 21-year run. Phil McGraw holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of North Texas and practiced in Texas until he moved to California to launch the show.
