Netflix Drops PS3 Support After 16 Years

Hey, if you're still firing up Netflix on your trusty old PlayStation 3, time's almost up - the app stops working after March 2, 2026, ending over 16 years of streaming magic on more than 87 million consoles sold. It all started back in 2009 with a special Blu-ray disc you had to mail for because of an Xbox exclusivity deal, but now the PS3's dated hardware and security needs mean Netflix is saying goodbye.
