Jessie Holmes, the Alaska musher who appeared on the documentary series Life Below Zero, just made history by winning the grueling Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race for the second year in a row. Holmes crossed the finish line in Nome on March 17, completing the nearly 1,000-mile trek from Willow in just over nine days with his incredible dog team.
