Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz return for The Mummy 4, officially ignoring the critically panned 16-year-old third film in the canon. Directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin revive the beloved 1999 original's spirit with Fraser as Rick O'Connell and Weisz as Evelyn Carnahan. The script by David Coggeshall promises a beautiful, sweeping, scary, and fun adventure in preproduction for a May 2028 release.
